Three Kings and Befana tins

For 6 January in Spain and Italy

Ready-made designs for 6 January — Reyes Magos in Spain, Befana in Italy. Printed on moulds we already own — no tooling cost, no wait.

In Spain the presents arrive on the night of 5 January, brought by three kings — a bigger gift night than Christmas Day itself. In Italy the same night belongs to the Befana, the woman on a broomstick, who closes the season rather than replacing Christmas. Portugal keeps Dia de Reis as well. One night, three markets, one set of moulds.

What you are looking at

The designs on this page are ours — drawn in-house and shown here so you can see what the range looks like before committing to anything. Each one is ready to print on moulds we already own, and goes into production once there is an order behind it. That means no tooling cost and no wait for a new shape — only printing and forming.

Tins in this range

Our own designs, printed on our own moulds.

Ordering from this range

Minimum order
From 5,000 pieces per design
Lead time
4–6 weeks from artwork approval
Tooling
None — these use moulds we already own

Because the mould already exists, a ready-made range skips the eight weeks and the tooling cost a new shape needs. What is left is printing and forming.

What this range is not

A ready-made design is not exclusive. Anyone can order the same tin, and some of them will be your competitors. If you need artwork nobody else can buy, that is a custom project — same moulds, your own design, and the exclusivity applies to the artwork, not to the shape.

Frequently asked questions

Why is this one range and not three?

Because it is one night. Reyes in Spain, Befana in Italy and Dia de Reis in Portugal fall on the same date and want the same kind of tin — a gift box for sweets, chocolate or a small present. Splitting it into three pages would only have made three pages compete with each other.

When do these have to be ordered?

For 6 January, artwork should be approved by September. The Spanish and Italian trade builds its Reyes and Befana displays in early December, which means filling in November, which means the tins have to land in October.

Does the roscón or the galette fit in these?

No, and we would rather say so. A roscón de reyes and a galette des rois are wide, flat cakes sold in a card box from a bakery — that is a different product and a different supplier. These tins are for what goes beside the cake: chocolate, turrón, sweets, a small gift.

What sizes are in the range?

190 × 190 × 45 mm is the square gift box and Ø133 × 85 mm the deep round one — those two carry most of the range. Ø170 × 35 and 190 × 115 × 35 mm are shallow, 265 × 175 × 45 mm is the large filled box, and 120 × 79 × 180 mm stands upright for a jar or a stacked selection. All are moulds we already own, so there is nothing to cut and nothing to wait eight weeks for.
