A tin outlives the thing inside it. Long after the chocolates are gone, it sits on a shelf, holds buttons and keepsakes, and quietly keeps a brand in someone’s kitchen. That is the packaging we make.

Where it began

It started with a single production line.

One workshop in İstanbul, one press, and a stubborn idea: that the box should be as good as what goes in it. We printed, cut and folded metal by hand, and learned the craft one tin at a time.

Today the presses are bigger and the orders cross oceans — but the obsession with the detail has not moved an inch.

The long way here

From one production line to 50+ countries

1979

A workshop in İstanbul

Masaş begins as a small metal-printing workshop — a single production line and a conviction that a tin can be as beautiful as what it holds.

1990s

Tooling, in-house

We bring press tooling and die-making under our own roof, so any shape a customer can imagine, we can form ourselves.

2000s

Exporting the craft

Confectioners, tea houses and chocolatiers abroad discover our tins. Masaş begins shipping to Europe, the Gulf and beyond.

2010s

Food-safe, at scale

ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 certification. Food-safe lacquers, modern offset and automated forming take us past 120,000 tins a day.

Today

A name on 50+ markets

Every tin is still designed, tooled, printed and formed in one place — by people who care how the lid closes.

What we believe

Three things we never compromise

01

Craft over commodity

A tin is the first thing your customer touches. We treat it that way — every dieline, colour break and emboss is checked by a person, not just a press.

02

Made to be kept

Our packaging outlives the product inside it. We design tins people refuse to throw away — reused for keepsakes, passed around kitchens for years.

03

Honest materials

Tinplate is recyclable and food-safe. Beautiful packaging should not cost the planet, so we build ours from a material that comes back around.

Kind to reuse

The most sustainable tin is the one nobody throws away

Metal is the rare premium material that is also genuinely circular. Our tins are made to be reused for years — and recyclable when they finally retire.

Recycled at scale

Steel is recovered magnetically from mixed waste and remade into new steel — 84% of steel packaging placed on the EU market was recycled in 2024 (Steel for Packaging Europe, EU harmonised method).

Built for a second life

A tin keeps working long after the product is gone — storage, keepsakes, a brand quietly living on a shelf.

Less single-use waste

Durable metal replaces throwaway plastic and card, so your packaging footprint shrinks with every reuse.

Craft since 1979
We still make every tin like it has our name on it. Because it does.

Since 1979, the same presses have been run by people who treat every tin as their own. The names on the orders have grown from local confectioners to some of the world’s best-known brands — but the way we check a lid, match a colour and pack a pallet has not changed.
