Printed tins from 1,000 pieces

Not every project starts at five thousand. When the quantity is smaller, we print digitally onto tins we already hold — existing moulds, ready colours, one to two weeks. No new tooling, and nothing to wait for.

How it works

  1. 1

Tell us what you are packing

Product, rough size, how many. You do not need to know the exact tin — that is our part.

  2. 2

We show you what is on the floor

Shapes and colours move week to week, so instead of a catalogue that goes stale we send you what is actually available when you ask, with photographs.

  3. 3

    Your artwork, printed digitally

Send a logo or a finished design. We print it on the tin you chose and ship in one to two weeks. Want to see it first? A plain, unprinted tin is free — you pay only the courier. A printed proof of your own artwork is available too; ask us what it costs.

The shapes we hold moulds for

What is on the shelf changes from week to week. That is why there is no size list on this page: a list would be out of date before you read it. Tell us what you need and we will send you what is there.

The same moulds, printed

These four are our own İstanbul designs, and they run on the same moulds you can order from 1,000 pieces. They are offset-printed, so treat them as proof of the tin rather than of the print: at 1,000 your artwork goes on digitally, and the difference is the one described above.

Who takes this route

Most of the small runs we print start in one of these places.

What this route is not

We would rather you know the limits now than after the samples arrive.

The colour is chosen, not made.

Bodies come in the finishes we already hold — gold, clear lacquer, gloss white, matt black, white enamel, and a few others. A colour mixed for your brand is offset work, not this route.

The print does not wrap the whole tin.

Digital printing puts your artwork on the tin. A design that covers every surface, edge to edge and over the curves, is what the offset line is for.

The shape is one of ours.

A silhouette drawn for your product needs its own tooling, about eight weeks, and it belongs on the full custom route.

Digital and offset do not look identical.

Digital gives you photographic detail at small numbers. Offset lays ink down differently on metal, and on large areas of flat colour the difference is visible. It is a small difference and a real one, so we would rather name it here than let you find it in the box. And you do not have to take our word for it: we can print a proof of your own artwork before the run — ask us what it costs.

What we hold changes.

We are not describing a warehouse of finished printed tins. These are moulds and unprinted bodies, and the mix moves.

Need any of these? That is the 5,000-piece custom route — your colour, your full design, your shape, offset-printed on our own line.

A word on cost, since nobody enjoys finding this out in a quotation: at 1,000 pieces the price per tin is higher than at 5,000. The set-up work is much the same either way — it is simply spread over fewer tins. That is the trade you are making, and it is usually worth it for a first run.

Questions

Can I have my own colour?
Not on this route. The body comes in one of the finishes we already hold, and your artwork is printed on top of it. A colour mixed to your brand is part of the 5,000-piece offset route.
Can the print cover the whole tin?
No. Digital printing places your artwork on the tin; it does not wrap every surface. Full-surface decoration is offset work.
Will it look the same as your offset tins?
Close, but not identical. Offset lays ink onto metal differently, and on large areas of flat colour you can see it. Rather than ask you to believe us, we can print a proof of your own artwork before the run — ask us what it costs. Judge it in your hand.
Is the inside food-safe?
Yes. The interior lacquer is suitable for food contact across the range. Masaş is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 22000.
Which sizes do you have?
It changes week to week, which is why we do not publish a list. Tell us the product and the rough size and we will send you what is available now.
Is it airtight?
No. A decorative tin recloses well and keeps light and crushing off the product, but it is not a sealed pack. If your product needs a barrier, it goes in a sealed bag or wrap inside the tin.
Can I see a tin before I order?
Yes, two ways. A plain, unprinted tin from the shelf is free — you cover the courier. It tells you the metal, the finish colour, the size and how the lid closes. And if you want to see your own artwork on it, we can print a proof before the run; ask us what that costs.
What if I need more than 1,000 later?
Nothing is wasted. The same shapes exist on the offset line, so a repeat at 5,000 or more moves to full custom with your own colour and full-surface artwork.
