Are the tins food-safe for direct contact?
Yes. We line the interior with a food-grade lacquer matched to your product, so it never touches bare metal. Food-contact suitability is confirmed per project against the product and the applicable regulations.
Does the tin protect saffron’s aroma and colour?
It blocks light completely, which is the single biggest threat to saffron’s colour and value, and rigid metal keeps the threads from being crushed. Air is a different job: a decorative tin is not airtight, so threads needing an oxygen barrier are packed in a sealed inner bag inside the tin.
Can you match our brand colours and finish?
Yes — we offset-print to your exact artwork in Pantone-matched colour, then add matte, gloss, soft-touch, spot-UV, embossing or metallic-ink effects to suit a premium luxury-spice brand.
What is the minimum order for a custom tin?
Custom-printed saffron tins run 5,000–25,000 pieces per design — larger tins sit at the lower end, smaller ones higher. Plain, unprinted tins on a mould we already hold can be supplied in smaller quantities; printed tins are always made to order, because we hold moulds rather than finished printed stock.
Can you make a custom shape or size?
Yes. We build our own tooling in-house, so a bespoke shape, embossed lid or special format for your miniature saffron tin is all possible. New-tooling lead times are confirmed with your quote.
