A decorative tin is not airtight, so ground spices needing an oxygen barrier are packed in a sealed inner bag inside it. Are the tins food-safe for direct contact?
Yes. We line the interior with a food-grade lacquer matched to your product, so it never touches bare metal. Food-contact suitability is confirmed per project against the product and the applicable regulations.
Do the tins keep spices fresh?
Yes. A food-safe, light-blocking tin with a snug lid protects volatile aromas from air and light far better than a sachet, keeping blends potent.
Can you match our brand colours and finish?
Yes — we offset-print to your exact artwork in Pantone-matched colour, then add matte, gloss, soft-touch, spot-UV, embossing or metallic-ink effects to suit a premium spice brand.
What is the minimum order for a custom tin?
Custom-printed spice tins run 5,000–25,000 pieces per design — larger tins sit at the lower end, smaller ones higher. Plain, unprinted tins on a mould we already hold can be supplied in smaller quantities; printed tins are always made to order, because we hold moulds rather than finished printed stock.
Can you supply a shaker or sifter lid?
No — we do not produce shaker, sifter or pour-lid inserts, and we would rather say so than take an order we cannot fill. What we make are fitted, domed, hinged, inner-plug, screw and crystal acrylic lids. For a spice range the inner-plug and screw formats are the ones that reseal properly between uses; if your product genuinely needs a dispensing insert, it has to be sourced separately and fitted on your line.
